Research shows exposure to natural light supports mood, sleep, and energy. That's why I carefully consider how each room captures and uses light.
The way we move through a room influences whether it feels effortless or stressful. Thoughtful layouts reduce friction and make everyday living feel easier.
Incorporating natural materials, views, greenery, and organic textures has been linked with reduced stress and improved well-being.
Research suggests clutter can increase cognitive load and contribute to feelings of stress or being overwhelmed, while organized spaces can support focus and a greater sense of calm.
Objects connected to memories, identity, or family can strengthen emotional attachment to a home.
